Two cook no-shows while the app showed service had started

A Reddit customer says neither assigned cook arrived after a ₹8,244 subscription, although the app marked a worker as joined.

THE FULL STORY

Reddit user sabki-bajaungi says they paid ₹8,244 for a cook subscription after being promised a trained cook. The first assigned worker did not join, the customer says, and a second also failed to appear despite repeated promises that a worker would come the next day.

The customer says the app nonetheless showed a worker had joined and that salary was due. They say CCTV footage showed that nobody had arrived. They also described the relationship managers as rude and said the subscription fee had not been refunded when they posted.

Correction, 20 October 2026: Details from an unrelated experience have been removed.
