CUSTOMER EXPERIENCENanny placement

Purva Naidu questions nanny suitability in a public complaint

Naidu questions an assigned nanny's suitability and says two replacements did not arrive, followed by a partial refund with a ₹3,000 deduction.

THE FULL STORY

Purva Naidu says in a submission to the Consumer Complaints Court website that an assigned nanny lacked experience and had what Naidu described as a serious integrity issue, raising concern about child safety. Naidu says the concern was raised with the relationship manager, along with a request to blacklist the nanny. The website publishes Naidu’s account as a customer complaint, not a court judgment.

Naidu also alleges misconduct by the relationship manager and says a request was made to speak with another manager. Two subsequently offered helpers did not arrive, Naidu says, prompting a request to discontinue service and receive a refund. According to the complaint, after a month of follow-ups Broomees issued a partial refund with ₹3,000 deducted. Naidu says continued calls to support did not reach someone who could resolve the remaining concern.

Correction, 20 October 2026: Details from an unrelated experience have been removed.
