THE FULL STORY

Aakanksha Jain says the invoice for a weekend elder-care aide in Jaipur’s C-Scheme rose after the first visit and included a coordination fee that had not been mentioned during the call. The household also expected a named coordinator and written confirmation of duties.

The requirement and budget were discussed on January 1, 2024. A profile was shared and an initial payment recorded on January 4. By January 5, Jain had reported a mismatch around the planned start. Jain escalated the billing concern on January 7, citing a medical-care checklist and coordinator emails.

Jain says support acknowledged a profile mismatch and offered a new trial candidate. The unused portion of the plan was refunded after escalation, according to the account. The last check was February 5.
