THE FULL STORY

Raman Upmanyu says an assigned infant night-care worker in Pune’s Kalyani Nagar area refused several duties listed in the booking summary. The household had expected a replacement within 24 hours if needed, along with a named coordinator and written duties.

A requirement call took place on January 14, 2019. A profile was shared and an initial payment recorded on January 19. By January 20, Upmanyu had reported a mismatch around the planned start. Upmanyu escalated the issue on January 22, citing a school timetable, chat screenshots and an escalation ticket.

Upmanyu says the escalation desk offered service credits instead of a refund. The unused portion of the plan was later refunded after escalation, according to the account. Its last status check was February 19.
