THE FULL STORY

Mayank Mehta says an assigned after-school babysitter in Chennai’s Velachery area refused several duties listed in the booking summary. The household expected a replacement within 24 hours if needed, a named coordinator and written duties.

The requirement and budget were discussed on November 2, 2024. A profile was shared and an initial payment recorded on November 7. By November 8, Mehta had reported a mismatch around the planned start. Mehta escalated the issue on November 10 and cites coordinator emails and a medical-care checklist.

Mehta says the escalation desk offered service credits instead of a refund. Both sides agreed to end the arrangement without a full refund, according to the account. Its last check was December 6.
